The NASCAR Xfinity Series is racing in Nashville this weekend for racing on the 1.33 mile concrete oval. We should get some good racing and we only have a few Cup drivers coming down to run this race this week.
Potential Dominators
Justin Allgaier
Ross Chastain
Sam Mayer
Allgaier has been great this season and he was fast again in practice. He will be tough to beat tonight at Nashville and I expect him to lead laps and be a top dominator in the race. Chastain is another that looked really good in practice and should be up front all race tonight. He is in top equipment and is on a roll with his win last week in the Coke 600. Mayer showed some speed in practice and could be a good option I just don’t know how confident I am that he will lead laps. His teammate Sheldon Creed is in the same boat as he had good lap averages but he has shown that a lot this season in practice and it has not translated to the race.
Place Differential Plays
Taylor Gray
Sammy Smith
Corey Day
Gray starts back in 24th and has been running well this season. He had solid speed in practice and should move forward and have potential to run in the top 10 tonight. Sammy Smith had really good speed in the practice session with some of the top lap averages in the first group. He starts in 14th so he doesn’t have a ton of room to move forward but I think he can have top 5 upside and be a good value play at his salary. Day is another that had good speed in practice and he ran well here in the truck race last night. He is in top equipment and starts in 21st and is at a cheap salary on Draftkings making him a solid option for the race.
Cheap Options
Anthony Alfredo
Parker Retzlaff
Brennan Poole
Kyle Sieg
Alfredo has had good speed at time this season and had a practice session today showing speed. He starts in 23rd and I would expect to see him running in the top 20 throughout the race tonight. Retzlaff starts a little farther back in 29th. He has had an up and down year but I think he should be able to move forward and be a solid option for the race. Poole has been great this season and starts back in 31st giving him a lot of place differential upside. He should contend in the low 20s and have upside for more. Sieg is another that had solid speed in practice and has had some good runs this year. He should run in the top 25 and have the potential for more as well.
