NASCAR Xfinity Series Kansas DFS Picks

The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to Kansas this weekend for some action out in the middle of the country. Drivers will be battling on the 1.5 mile oval for 200 laps for the first time this season as they did not race here in the spring like the Cup and Truck series did. I would expect the JR Motorsports cars and drivers to be the ones to beat this week as they have won most of the races that were on 1.5 mile tracks this season. We do have a handful of races to go off of from earlier in the year that were at similar tracks like Charlotte, Texas, and Las Vegas.

Potential Dominators

Connor Zilisch

Justin Allgaier

Taylor Gray

Brandon Jones

I am not going to count out Zilisch this week as he has been dominate this season and is in a JR Motorsports car that have been great on 1.5 mile tracks this season. He was fast in practice again and should be a contender at the front this weekend. Allgaier didn’t stand out too much on the speed charts, but he was in the top 10 and was the only car to do a 30 lap run. Usually if you run that long you have a good car and don’t need to make adjustments so that is a good sign for him being a contender this week.

Gray starts on the front row and had really good speed in practice. He has shown flashes this season and I would not be surprised to see him lead laps and win the race. Jones starts on pole and is a hard driver to predict. I don’t love him but he is a solid option with the best chance to lead a lot early.

Place Differential Plays

Ryan Sieg

Sammy Smith

Carson Kvapil

Christian Eckes

Sieg has been really good on 1.5 mile tracks this year and he was the fastest car in practice this week. I think he is going to be a real contender to get his first win this week and should be a good value play. Smith was another that was really fast and practice and starts outside the top 10. He should be able to move forward and have top five upside in the race. Kvapil and Eckes did not have the best laptops in practice, but they start around the 20th position giving them a lot of place differential potential in the race. They should be solid options at their salary for DFS.

Cheap Options

Daniel Dye

Brennan Poole

Kyle Sieg

Kole Raz

Ryan Ellis

Dye is a top option this week as he starts in last and will have huge place to differential potential and the race making him a popular option. He will be a high owned driver at his salary. Poole and Kyle see are both solid options starting in the 20s that should be able to move forward and have top 20 upside in the race. Raz and Ellis are solid flyer options this week.
