The NASCAR Truck Series heads to Rockingham Speedway for one of the more unique and technical races on the schedule. Rockingham is a 1-mile oval that places a heavy emphasis on tire wear, long-run speed, and driver discipline. This track has historically been one of the most abrasive surfaces in NASCAR, which creates significant falloff over the course of a run but since the track was repaved a few years ago, the falloff is not quite as extreme.
