NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series WWTR DFS
The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series heads to World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway Saturday night for the Nu Way 225 Powered by Bobcat and Sauced by Blues Hog. The race will feature 180 laps around the 1.25-mile oval, with the stages ending on laps 45, 90, and 180. WWTR is one of the more unique tracks on the schedule because the two ends of the track are completely different and require drivers to use a lot of brake while still maintaining rear grip on corner exit. Turns 1 and 2 are tighter than Turns 3 and 4, which makes it difficult to get the car balanced perfectly around the entire track. A driver can be really good on one end and still lose a significant amount of time on the other.
