The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series heads back to Chicagoland Speedway for the first time in several years, bringing one of the more unique intermediate tracks on the schedule back into the spotlight. Chicagoland's 1.5-mile layout has always produced exciting racing with multiple grooves, long green-flag runs, and plenty of opportunities for drivers to search around the racetrack for grip. After sitting unused by NASCAR since 2019, the racing surface should continue to show plenty of character with additional aging and worn pavement creating another challenge for teams this weekend.
