The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Iowa Speedway this weekend for another unique race on the schedule. The 0.875-mile short track provides a different challenge than the traditional short tracks, featuring progressive banking and enough width to allow multiple grooves as the race goes on. While passing can still be difficult early in a run, the preferred lane tends to move around throughout the race as rubber gets laid down, creating opportunities for drivers willing to search for grip.
