The race will feature 250 laps around the 0.75-mile D-shaped oval, giving us plenty of laps led and fastest-lap points to target for DFS. Richmond is a technical short track where drivers need to be strong under braking, rotate through the center of the corner, and maintain rear grip coming off the turn.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Iowa Speedway this weekend for another unique race on the schedule. The 0.875-mile short track provides a different challenge than the traditional short tracks, featuring progressive banking and enough width to allow multiple grooves as the race goes on. While passing can still be difficult early in a run, the preferred lane tends to move around throughout the race as rubber gets laid down, creating opportunities for drivers willing to search for grip.
